Make a difference in a young person’s life!

ON THE HORIZON

Elite Conservatory Program – Heading to YAGP FINALS in Houston, Texas!

We are thrilled to announce that members of our Elite Conservatory Program will be representing Coastal Dance Centre at the Youth America Grand Prix International Finals in Houston this May.

We are incredibly proud to share that the following ensemble works will all be featured on the international stage:

“Baiao Destemperado” – choreographed by Mr. Shimon Ito (3rd Place, Small Ensembles Category),

“Alas” – choreographed by Ms. Irene Rodriguez, (Top 12 – Large Ensembles Category),

“Jekyll” – choreographed by Ms. Holly Feliton, (Top 12 – Large Ensembles Category), and

“Revelry” – choreographed by Ms. Karen Mata (Top 12 – Large Ensembles Category).

This achievement reflects months—indeed years—of disciplined training, artistic growth, and unwavering commitment. To have multiple ensembles invited to the Finals is a remarkable honor, and we could not be more proud of these young artists as they prepare to represent Coastal Dance Centre on an international stage.

Support Our Dancers on Their Journey to Houston

This May, our Elite Conservatory Program dancers will represent Coastal Dance Centre at the Youth America Grand PrixInternational Finals in Houston—an extraordinary honor earned through years of dedication, discipline, and artistry.

These are your friends, classmates, your teammates—our dancers. They carry with them not only their own dreams, but the spirit and excellence of our entire Coastal Dance Centre community.

Participation in the YAGP Finals is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—but it also comes with significant expenses, including travel, accommodations, and competition fees.

Community Recognition

As a token of our gratitude, all supporting families will be recognized in the Spring Festival of Dance souvenir program book.

Your support is more than a donation—it is a powerful message to these dancers that their hard work, dedication, and dreams matter.

Thank you for standing with us as they take this exciting step onto the international stage.

CYBT’s most important asset is its dedicated and talented pool of young dancers. One of the challenges that CYBT continually face is the financial support needed for these dancers who train for an average of 30+ hours per week, which cost their families approximately $550 per month (and that is not yet including the cost of pointe shoes; these dancers can go through at least two to three pairs of pointe shoes per month). Much of the training and individual coaching of these dedicated dancers have been given from the heart by both the directors, Ms. Liza and Ms. Karen.

Would you please consider supporting these dancers?

Your contributions to the CYBT Dancer Support Fund will help to develop, train, and sustain these remarkable dancers at every stage of their training and for some of them, future career prospects. Your support for their training is crucial to the success of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre and Coastal Dance Centre programs. It is changing and making a difference in the lives of these children. We extend our gratitude to the
generous supporters who have extended financial support and continue to support and allow for these dancers to develop as beautiful dancers and be confident individuals, as well as developing a strong dance program that our community can be proud of.

If your family or business would like to assist us with building the CYBT Dancer Support Fund, we would be most grateful. Your generous support will help secure the financial viability of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre and will ensure that we continue to present future generations in our community with high caliber dance training and performance opportunities.
