SUPPORT COASTAL YOUTH BALLET THEATRE!

Your support plays a big part in a young person’s life!

CYBT’s most important asset is its dedicated and talented pool of young dancers. One of the challenges that CYBT continually face is the financial support needed for these dancers who train for an average of 30+ hours per week, which cost their families approximately $550 per month (and that is not yet including the cost of pointe shoes; these dancers can go through at least two to three pairs of pointe shoes per month). Much of the training and individual coaching of these dedicated dancers have been given from the heart by both the directors, Ms. Liza and Ms. Karen.

Would you please consider supporting these dancers?

Your contributions to the CYBT Dancer Support Fund will help to develop, train, and sustain these remarkable dancers at every stage of their training and for some of them, future career prospects. Your support for their training is crucial to the success of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre and Coastal Dance Centre programs. It is changing and making a difference in the lives of these children. We extend our gratitude to the
generous supporters who have extended financial support and continue to support and allow for these dancers to develop as beautiful dancers and be confident individuals, as well as developing a strong dance program that our community can be proud of.

If your family or business would like to assist us with building the CYBT Dancer Support Fund, we would be most grateful. Your generous support will help secure the financial viability of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre and will ensure that we continue to present future generations in our community with high caliber dance training and performance opportunities.

Five Coastal Dance Centre Students to Compete in the International Finals of YOUTH AMERICA GRAND PRIX

Following the success of our students at the Youth America Grand Prix Regional Competition held in Winston Salem, North Carolina, last February 17 -20, five of our students have been invited to participate in the Youth America Grand Prix International Finals to be held in Tampa, Florida, from April 12 -19.

CDC-CYBT dancer Siena Espana

15-year-old Siena Espana, (Advanced Ballet level and Elite Conservatory student), will compete in the Senior Age Division (ages 15-20) by virtue of her having won 1st Place in the Classical Ballet Category.

Siena, together with Piper Jenerette (13 years old and Intermediate Ballet student), Sofia Obiena (14 years old and Advanced Ballet student), Willow Owens (17 years old and Advanced Ballet student), McKinsey Wright (16 years old and Advanced Ballet student) will compete in the Ensemble Category with their pieces: “100 Fridays in a Week” (choreographed by Maria Konrad) and “Welcome to Bedrock” (choreographed by Margo Sappington)

As these girls continue to reach goals (now on an international level – the YAGP is an international organization), they also need the support for the opportunity to let the community see their progress and what our school can offer for future students that may be interested &/or serious about dance.

Each dance season, when we come up with a ballet production to put on stage, we do it with a mission in mind: to train and educate today’s youth through dance, setting high standards and achievable artistic and personal goals for them and inspiring them to be the future artists, patrons and ambassadors to the rest of the nation and to the world.

Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre is sustained in part, through earned revenue from ticket sales, company membership and sponsorship and donations contributed by individuals and businesses. Our donors have a significant part in allowing us to continue to offer high caliber programs and performances to the community. Without your support, we will not be able to continue what we do. As donors and supporters, you help us to preserve the standards of excellence that our audiences have come to expect from Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre.

If you have made a gift to CYBT, please know how much we appreciate and value your contribution to us.

If you are thinking of giving us a gift, please go ahead and do consider supporting CYBT. Your gift will not only allow us to have the essential financial funding for our programs, it will also provide valuable benefits for you and your family to enjoy!
